One of main attractions in Orebiæ is the Franciscan monastery and Church of Our Lady of Angels. View from 150 m above sea level, where the main monastery lodge if located, of Peljesac canal, Korcula, Mljet and Lastovo  is unforgettable.

Legend says that captains and sailors saling in and out of Orebiæ hailed Our Lady of Angels with horns as a sign of gratitude and seeking protection.
Franciscan monks would answer by ringing the church bell.
